Maria's Baptism 1

A crisp, clear day for a bicycle ride along the Nieuwe Meer, together with Meagan and Marco. A beautiful day... but a brisk day.


Yes, it was cold enough for ice in some parts of the lake (thick enough to support the weight of some futen, even!)... And yet, we were preparing for a baptism!


Maria's closest friends and family gathered on the beach to watch.


We march bravely into the icy waters of the Nieuwe Meer.
